The note began: My dearest Jenny, I realise you may view this as being a cowardly manner in which to break our relationship. . . Jenny's eyes widened, nausea almost overwhelming her as a blood curdling, gutteral scream welled up in her throat, threatening to erupt.
Throwing herself onto her bed face down, Jenny succumbed to the emotions welling up within her, wailing as only a broken heart can.
Some time later, Jenny lay on her back and rubbed her aching temples, devastated by the cruelty of the letter. Perhaps it would all go away if she shut her eyes for a moment, it just all felt like a bad dream and then she caught a glimpse again of the crumpled, tear-stained letter and the emotions welled up once again.
How is it possible that Andrew had called it quits, their relationship wasn't all that bad, they had their ups and downs, but never did she think it had reached this stage.
Her head throbbed and eyes burned from the tears she had shed for the past hour, running through her mind were so many thoughts, "How could I have prevented this?" "What part did I play in this breakdown?" "Why did Andrew not confront me himself with this heart-breaking news?" Emotions of self-pity and anger took their turns.
"Was there someone else?" Jenny could not imagine there being anyone else, Andrew just wasn't like that, he always appeared so loyal, it would be a shocking revelation if this was not so.
The events of the past couple of weeks played through Jenny's mind as she tried to establish what would have caused Andrew to break-up their relationship. They had argued over several matters, but nothing seemed to be serious enough to warrant a break-up.
Jenny wanted to call Andrew, but she wasn't going to give him the pleasure of finding out how devastated she was. Once she had regained her composure she would call him and hopefully he would shed some light on this whole horrible mess.
There was no-one she could easily confide in and somehow she needed to work through this and find a solution. She was so madly in love with Andrew and had been hoping that soon he would be popping The Question, but it seemed she had been horribly mistaken.
Having taken a shower and composed herself somewhat, she then decided she needed some help and guidance but not knowing where else to look, Jenny decided to have a browse on the internet and this is where she discovered the most wonderful treasure filled with everything she needed The Magic of Making Up.
Without hesitation, Jenny ordered a copy on-line and was immediately given access to her treasure she downloaded onto her desktop and began to devour like a hungry bear.
There was so much useful information and advice that Jenny had never heard before and as she read she began to apply these things mentally to her life and that of her relationship with Andrew. Her excitement grew as each piece of information sunk deep into her heart and she knew there was so much she could do to rectify her broken relationship with Andrew. . .
